Steal Kate Middleton’s New Zealand Style
Over the past few days, all eyes have been Down Under as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and son, Prince George have been visiting New Zealand as part of a 19 day tour of the country and nearby Australia. Marking the very first visit by the 8 month-old, the Royals have partaken in traditional Maori nose-pressing, unveiled a portrait of the Queen and raced yachts, but if we’re honest, the most important bit for us, is Kate’s impeccable wardrobe.
Long have we lusted after the Duchess’s effortless elegance, even when in casual attire, there is something so wholesome yet thoroughly modern about Kate’s style; so naturally, we want to get our hands on it. Favouring designers such as Tory Burch, Issa London, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, the Royal supports quality British ateliers, as seen throughout her tour of NZ. We’ve chosen three of Kate’s best Kiwi looks and recreated them for a snip of the price…
Opting for comfort and style for the flight from Wellington to the Royal New Zealand Air Force base in Whenuapai, Kate was casual with a military nod in this Zara blazer, Breton striped tee and Stuart Weitzman wedges.
Renowned for her excellent outerwear collection, Kate doesn’t disappoint with her powder blue Alexander McQueen choice in which she commemorates 100 years since World War One.
For a state reception in Wellington, Kate went all out in an all black Jenny Packham gown that was especially designed to incorporate the New Zealand silver fern emblem.
